Views, filters, and columns

See exactly the details you need, and nothing else

Once you have a Group set up, you can shape exactly how it looks so it answers a specific question at a glance, like which active clients haven't heard from us this month?

1Filter to narrow things down
A filter hides any record that doesn't match a rule you set. For example, you can choose to only show people whose status is Active, or companies in a specific industry. Add a filter, and your Group instantly narrows down to just those records.
2Choose and arrange your columns
Turn on the columns that actually matter for what you are doing right now, and hide the rest to keep your screen clean. You can also arrange the columns into whatever order makes the most sense to you, simply by dragging them where you want them.
3Sort to prioritize
Sort your data by any column, whether it is the most recent message, the largest deal, or the soonest renewal, so the records you need to act on first automatically rise to the top.
4Everything persists
Once your Group is filtered, sorted, and arranged the way you like it, you save it as a View. The exact column order, filters, and sorting will always persist. The next time you click on that View, it will be set up exactly how you left it.
A Group is the actual collection of records you put together, and a View is a saved, persistent way of looking at them.
